Role & responsibilities :

1. Instrumentation & Control Management

- Oversee the complete lifecycle of instrumentation systems across Coral plants (1 to 5).
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of all control systems and field instruments.
- Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

2. DCS & Automation Systems

- Manage and optimize Distributed Control Systems (DCS), particularly ABB-based systems.
- Handle configuration, logic development, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.

3. UV-Based Process Handling

- Support and stabilize UV-based reaction processes with precise instrumentation and monitoring.
- Ensure high levels of process control accuracy for critical and sensitive operations.

4. System Integration

- Lead integration of DCS, RIO, IMCC, and field instrumentation systems.
- Ensure effective communication between systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Drive automation improvements and system optimization initiatives.

5. Operational Excellence & Safety

- Ensure instrumentation systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.




- Minimize downtime and production losses through proactive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Support plant operations in critical decision-making through real-time data analysis.

6. First-Time Deployment Management

- Take ownership of newly implemented ABB DCS and RIO systems.
- Lead commissioning, stabilization, and performance optimization.
- Develop SOPs and best practices for system usage and maintenance.

7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination

- Lead and mentor the instrumentation team across plants.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams for seamless plant functioning.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Solid expertise in DCS (preferably ABB systems)
- Hands-on experience with RIO (Remote I/O systems)
- Knowledge of IMCC integration and motor control systems
- Experience in UV-based or complex chemical process instrumentation
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle critical and high-risk plant operations
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
