Role Description The Inside Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar . The role will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, connecting with prospective clients, understanding their business requirements, and converting opportunities into successful sales.

The specialist will handle inbound and outbound calls, conduct product demonstrations, prepare quotations and proposals, follow up with prospects, and manage the sales pipeline. The role also involves maintaining accurate information in CRM, coordinating with the marketing and technical teams, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

The ideal candidate should be confident in communicating with clients, target-oriented, proactive, and interested in building a career in software and technology sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, online platforms, and other sales channels.
- Make regular inbound and outbound calls to prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Altheory products and solutions.




- Conduct product demonstrations and explain key features and benefits.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and other sales-related documents.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Update leads, activities, follow-ups, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to move opportunities forward.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
- Collect client feedback and share relevant insights with the internal team.
- Ensure a proper handover of confirmed clients to the implementation/delivery team.

Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of inside sales and lead generation.
- Confident in making sales calls and interacting with business clients.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Good negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable using CRM and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Previous experience in software/IT sales will be an added advantage.
