Company Description WCB Robotics Inc. is a robotics company focused on developing solutions that replace some of the most dangerous jobs with advanced robotic systems. The company’s core innovation is in wall-climbing robots, supported by a patent-pending suction technology that is designed to be one of the most efficient and reliable non-contact fluid suction systems available.

WCB Robotics is currently applying this wall-climbing technology to clean the windows of skyscrapers, enabling robots to adhere to glass facades, climb, and perform cleaning operations. These solutions are aimed at window cleaning service providers, improving safety and efficiency in high-rise maintenance work.

Role Description The Information Technology System Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and hardware used in robotics development and operations.

The System

Administrator will manage user accounts, access controls, and backups, and will oversee network performance, security, and connectivity for the office and lab environments. Daily tasks include monitoring system health, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing technical support to team members, and ensuring that all IT systems comply with company policies and security standards.



The role also involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to support specialized software, tools, and infrastructure needed for robotics testing and deployment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust System Administration skills, including operating system management, server configuration, user management, and backup/restore procedures.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as configuring routers and switches, managing LAN/WAN, implementing firewalls, and monitoring network performance.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose hardware and software issues, resolve incidents promptly, and document solutions.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology fundamentals, including security best practices, virtualization, and basic cloud or on-premises infrastructure concepts.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or similar vendor certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working in engineering or robotics environments, and familiarity with Linux-based systems and scripting, is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to system reliability and security.
