Role Description The Independent Business Development Consultant is a part-time, remote role focused on expanding Medifirm Intelledge Global’s client base and deepening relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting outreach through calls, emails, and online meetings, and presenting the firm’s consulting services and AI-powered platform capabilities. The consultant will develop tailored proposals, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with internal consultants and product specialists to align offerings with client needs.





Additional activities include market mapping, tracking opportunities in a CRM, attending virtual industry events, and providing feedback on market trends to help refine go-to-market strategies. This role is commission or performance-driven and best suited for professionals comfortable operating independently in a results-oriented environment.

Qualifications

- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing enterprise or B2B deals.
- Relationship management and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and professional presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, such as clinical development, regulatory processes, and competitive intelligence.
- Comfort working with digital tools, CRM systems, and data-driven platforms; ability to learn and articulate AI-driven product features.
- Robust analytical and strategic thinking skills to understand client needs and translate them into tailored consulting and platform solutions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet agreed targets and deadlines.
- Prior experience in pharma/biotech business development, consulting, or related commercial roles is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field preferred; advanced degrees or equivalent experience in industry are an advantage.
