Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to manage and optimize cloud based security and delivery platforms, with a strong focus on Imperva CDN and security solutions, along with exposure to Proofpoint and Zscaler. The role is responsible for protecting web and mobile applications against WAF attacks, bots, DDoS, phishing, and account takeover threats, while ensuring performance, availability, and security in a 24×7 operational workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Imperva CDN & Security Operations

- Implement and manage Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules and security policies
- Configure Bot Manager Premier and Account Protector to mitigate bot attacks and account takeover attempts
- Perform site shield IP updates and configure pragma header stripping rules
- Implement caching, compression, and performance optimization rules
- Integrate Imperva SDK to protect mobile applications from automated threats

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to identify security threats and anomalies
- Investigate and mitigate bot attacks, WAF violations, and DDoS attempts
- Act as a primary SOC contact, responding to and resolving security incidents
- Participate in on call rotations, responding to high priority incidents within SLA




- Work closely with Imperva support and internal SMEs for advanced troubleshooting

Collaboration & Governance
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize content delivery and application security
- Conduct risk assessments across web and mobile applications, including client side protection
- Document and communicate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation actions
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, configuration documentation, and reports
- Stay current on CDN, web security trends, and emerging threats

- Familiarity with email security, DLP, and encryption concepts
