Job Title: HR Business Partner.
Location: Hyderabad, Shamirpet (WFO), 5 days working
Grade: Assistant Manager / Manager
Experience: 3-6 Years
Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a Top Business School
Reporting To: R&D; HR Head
Role Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic HR professional to partner closely with the R&D; organization in building a high-performance, learning-oriented, and future-ready workforce. The role combines strategic HR Business Partnering with Talent Management and Learning & Development responsibilities, enabling scientific talent to deliver business outcomes while fostering employee engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with R&D; leaders and people managers to understand business priorities and translate them into effective people strategies.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building, retention, and workforce effectiveness initiatives.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, talent discussions, and development planning.
- Advise managers on employee relations, career development, succession planning, and team effectiveness.
- Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Facilitate onboarding and assimilation programs for new hires.
- Support change management and organizational development initiatives within the R&D; function.
Talent Management & Learning
- Design and implement talent management frameworks, including competency mapping, career pathways, and succession planning.
- Drive Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
and capability-building initiatives across employee groups.
- Conduct learning needs analysis and develop annual learning calendars aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical, behavioral, managerial, and leadership development programs.
- Support high-potential talent identification and leadership pipeline development.
- Measure learning effectiveness through feedback, assessments, capability improvement, and business impact metrics.
- Maintain talent and learning dashboards and provide periodic reviews to business leadership.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution such as XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, SIBM, MDI, XIMB, IMI, IMT, TAPMI, Great Lakes, GIM, Fore School or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders and managers.
- Experience in talent review, succession planning, learning design, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Robust analytical, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, CRO, CDMO, Life Sciences, Chemical, or R&D-intensive; organizations will be preferred.
