HR EXECUTIVE – HOSPITAL HR

Department: Human Resources

Location: Ovum Hospital, Hennur, Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 Years

Qualification: MBA / PGDM / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent

Industry Preference: Hospital / Healthcare experience preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations at Ovum Hospital, Hennur. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance and leave management, employee engagement, HR coordination, and supporting smooth HR operations at the hospital unit.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical positions.
- Source, screen and shortlist candidates through job portals, references and other recruitment channels.
- Coordinate interviews with Department Heads and Unit Heads.
- Manage candidate communication, salary discussions, offer coordination and joining follow-ups.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular manpower updates.
- Support urgent and bulk hiring requirements based on hospital manpower needs.

Joining & Onboarding
- Coordinate pre-joining and joining formalities for recent employees.
- Verify employee documents, educational qualifications, experience certificates and other required records.
- Prepare and maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Conduct employee induction and hospital orientation.
- Coordinate ID cards, biometric registration and other joining requirements.

HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRMS/HR system.
- Monitor daily attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism and shift-related concerns.




- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance and manpower issues.
- Prepare and submit attendance and payroll inputs within timelines.
- Assist with salary revisions, incentives, deductions and Full & Final Settlement processes.
- Maintain employee personal files and ensure all records are updated.

Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding routine HR-related concerns.
- Address employee queries and grievances professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Support employee engagement, welfare activities, celebrations and recognition initiatives.
- Assist in employee retention and exit-interview processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Performance & Training
- Coordinate confirmation, probation and performance appraisal processes.
- Support department heads in tracking employee performance and HR-related concerns.
- Coordinate training, induction and mandatory employee programs.
- Maintain training and attendance records.

Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure HR processes are followed as per hospital policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain records related to PF, ESI, gratuity and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of healthcare professionals, including relevant qualifications,



registrations and certifications where applicable.
- Support audits and compliance requirements, including hospital accreditation-related HR documentation.

HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain manpower, recruitment, joining, attrition, attendance and employee movement reports.
- Track open positions and recruitment status unit-wise.
- Provide HR MIS and other reports to the Unit Head / Corporate HR as required.

Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of recruitment and HR operations.
- Good understanding of attendance, leave and payroll processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS/HR software.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, department heads and support staff.
- Good problem-solving and employee-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare environment.
- MBA/PGDM/MSW in HR or equivalent qualification.
- Experience handling both recruitment and unit-level HR operations will be preferred.
- Candidates who can independently manage day-to-day HR activities at a hospital unit will be given preference.
