Role Overview We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. As the sole HRBP for a team of approximately 50 employees, you will work closely with business leaders to build a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workplace while establishing scalable HR practices and processes.

This role requires a proactive HR professional who enjoys both strategic partnering and operational execution. You will be responsible for driving key HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and alignment with global HR policies.

Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership

- Partner with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into people strategies.
- Provide guidance on organization design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters.

Talent Management

- Support & partner with the Talent Acquisition team on hiring.
- Lead onboarding and integration of new employees.
- Drive succession planning and identify internal talent for future growth opportunities.

Performance & Development

- Facilitate performance management and goal-setting processes.




- Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and development planning.
- Identify learning needs and coordinate development initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Design and implement engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee pulse surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, recognition, and employee well-being initiatives.

Employee Relations

- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and facilitate effective employee-manager relationships.
- Conduct investigations where required and ensure fair and consistent practices.

HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation.
- Support payroll inputs, leave administration, and HR systems in collaboration with shared services or external partners.

HR Programs & Process Excellence

- Establish and continuously improve HR policies, processes, and governance for the India GCC.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Lead or support global HR initiatives at the local level.

Experience Required Qualifications

- 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 - 5 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
- Experience partnering with business leaders to drive talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Hands-on experience managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Exposure to HR operations, policy implementation, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
- Experience working with HRMS platforms such as Workday, ADP,



SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting business units in a quick-paced, matrixed, or global environment is preferred.

Education

- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in HRMS, Microsoft Excel, HR analytics, and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a Global Capability Centre (GCC), multinational organization, or technology-driven environment.
- Exposure to supporting global teams or US-based stakeholders is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HR analytics, change management, and organizational development practices.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent are an added advantage.
