We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting & Financial Analyst to join our fast-growing InsureTech and AI-driven organization. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with financial analysis to support auditing, reconciliation, and remittance processes. The ideal candidate will bring both technical accounting expertise and a strong analytical mindset to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Remittance

Manage daily and monthly reconciliations of premium collections, carrier remittances, and brokerage accounts.

Oversee remittance processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to carriers and partners.

Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close processes.

Financial Analysis & Auditing

Conduct variance analysis on financial transactions and accounts.

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.

Develop and maintain financial reports that provide insight into company performance, cash flow, and expense trends.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows through automation and system enhancements.

Partner with operations and product teams to align financial reporting with system configurations.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with finance, operations, and product teams to ensure data accuracy and financial integrity.





Provide insights to leadership on remittance trends, audit findings, and financial risks.

Prepare presentations and dashboards to communicate financial performance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward certification a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or audit.
- Experience with remittance, reconciliations, or brokerage/insurance financial operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems or BI tools a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Note:

should have experience accounting experience with IT firms like working as accountant in IT firms or Industry only with Tally remittance complex payment experience
