Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and agile Finance & Tax Executive to manage the complete personal financial ecosystem of the Companys Directors and Promoters.
This role entails end-to-end management of personal banking, accounting, wealth tracking, direct tax planning, Income Tax Returns (ITR) filing, and statutory compliances under Indian Direct Tax laws and the Companies Act, 2013. The ideal candidate will maintain the highest level of confidentiality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
The candidate must be highly responsive, quick to execute tasks, and possess the emotional intelligence required to seamlessly handle day-to-day interactions with the Directors and their families.
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Personal Accounting & Banking Operations
- Manage day-to-day personal accounting, ledgers, and cash flows for the Directors, their HUFs (Hindu Undivided Families), and immediate family members.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations across multiple savings, current, and credit card accounts.
- Track and manage various receipts from investment properties (e.g., rent receipts, sale considerations).
- Oversee personal expenses, high-value personal purchases, utility billings, credit card and vendor payments.
- Administer personal guarantees and track insurance policy renewals (Life, Health, Property).
- Prepare various Investment and Budget MIS (Management Information Systems) reports promptly as per the Directors' requirements.
2. Direct Taxation & Tax Filing (Income Tax Act, 1961)
- Compute quarterly Advance Tax liabilities, factoring in salary, perks, capital gains, interest, and dividends.
- Prepare, reconcile, and file annual Income Tax Returns (ITR-2 / ITR-3) for Directors and related entities.
- Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation of financial records with Form 26AS, AIS (Annual Information Statement), and TIS (Taxpayer Information Summary) to eliminate reporting mismatches.
- Calculate short-term and long-term capital gains on equities, mutual funds, PMS, real estate, and unlisted shares.
- Coordinate timely responses to scrutiny notices, intimation rectifications (u/s 143(1), 139(9)), and refund follow-ups on the Income Tax e-filing portal.
3. Corporate Director Interface & Secretarial Compliances
- Maintain a strict and clear segregation between personal and company expenses; ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 regarding related-party transactions (Sec 188) and loans to/from directors (Sec 185/186).
- Track director remuneration, sitting fees, and commissions, ensuring accurate TDS deductions under Section 192, 194J, etc., along with Form 16/16A generation.
- Collaborate with the Company Secretary (CS) for annual disclosures (e.g., DIR-3 KYC, MBP-1).
4. Investment & Wealth Portfolio Tracking
- Track investment portfolios across various asset classes: Direct Equities, Mutual Funds, PMS/AIFs, Bonds, Real Estate, and Private Equity.
- Reconcile broker statements, demat holding statements, and contract notes.
- Liaise smoothly with external wealth managers, bankers, legal counsels, and statutory auditors.
- Prepare Investment MIS
Preferred candidate profile Education & Experience Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter) with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience or B.Com / M.Com: 8 to 9 years of relevant experience.
Transparent, polite, and concise communication skills for interacting with high-net-worth individuals, family members, and external advisors.
Technical Knowledge Advanced MS Excel, Tally Prime, and familiarity with the Income Tax e-Filing Portal.
