Job Purpose

Lead and manage

Electrical and MEP installation activities across construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient and timely execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end electrical/MEP installation activities for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

- Plan and supervise installation of

HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, RMUs, panels, bus ducts, cabling, earthing and lightning protection

.

- Oversee installation of lighting, power distribution and electrical infrastructure as per approved drawings.

- Coordinate installation of ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, BMS, data and communication systems

.

- Coordinate electrical works with HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, civil, architectural and other MEP services.

- Review approved drawings, shop drawings, material specifications and installation methodology before execution.

- Manage contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, technicians and manpower deployment.

- Monitor daily installation progress against project schedules and ensure timely completion.

- Ensure installation quality, workmanship, testing and commissioning are as per project specifications and applicable standards.

- Conduct inspections, identify defects and ensure timely snag rectification.

- Coordinate with consultants, PMC, architects,



vendors and internal project teams for technical and site-related issues.

- Plan material requirements and coordinate with procurement and vendors to avoid installation delays.

- Monitor contractor measurements, work completion, billing and variations.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, HSE requirements and statutory regulations

.

- Drive productivity, cost control and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

- Maintain installation records, inspection reports, testing documentation and as-built drawings.

- Lead and mentor the electrical/MEP installation team across project sites.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in

Electrical Engineering preferred.

- 12–18 years of experience in electrical/MEP installation within construction or real estate projects.

- Robust hands-on experience in building electrical installations

, preferably high-rise residential, commercial or large-scale projects.

- Good knowledge of electrical systems, MEP coordination, installation practices, testing and commissioning.

- Strong experience in contractor and manpower management.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical/MEP drawings and specifications.

- Strong leadership, site management, problem-solving and coordination skills.
