Purpose of the job:

- Develop and Implement the Group Information Technology Strategy, covering IT Vision, Applications, Infrastructure, Digitization and e-Business, Security, Governance, and other resources
- Enabling Business: Explore relevant, proven developments in emerging technologies of digitization to identify solutions to assist business functions in addressing identified pain areas as well as to develop a competitive advantage.
- Manage effectiveness of IT service delivery and Project Management, through effectively utilizing a mix of in-house and outsourced teams
- Develop and Manage the overall Information Technology budget
- People / Team management for IT team as well as External Service Providers

Accountability:

- Overall management of the Organisations IT resources including IT policies, Applications, Infrastructure, Team, Security environment, Availability, etc.
- Alignment of IT objectives with those of business and functions with a view to provide appropriate, proven digital -enabled solutions to help business functions achieve their objectives, delivering to agreed service levels
- Plan and Manage Information Technology budget

Responsibilities:Strategy Development & Implementation

- Work and collaborate with IT and business leadership to formulate, implement, and monitor an enterprise-wide IT Strategy
- Develop and publish management dashboards projecting health of various initiatives identified as part of the road map.
- Define, develop, and implement policy, process and standards to manage IT Services.
- Strategic plan to identify & engagement with supply and service vendor for short- or long-term value creation of the group
- Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by senior management
- Manage communication with regards to new launches, policy changes, etc. Ensure high impact communication that brings positive impact on our users and stakeholders.

Explore Solutions and New Technology





- Understand present environment and propose solutioning and architecting applications basis business requirements
- Keeping abreast with fast changing digital workspace, create a culture of innovation within the team and promotes experimentation
- Conduct evaluations of network and data security, identify security vulnerabilities, introduce software to prevent or mitigate security breach

IT Service Delivery

- Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software, and storage ensuring strategic capacity planning
- Supervise and ensure seamless server performance and periodic, preventive maintenance of the setup
- Direct and supervise the upgrades / renewals / subscriptions of software and hardware, and related technologies
- Asset Management of the department with adequate safety and security
- Manage audits and compliance as per the standards and controls
- Setup, Improve, maintain Service SLAs and take constructive feedback from business users
- Building and maintaining relationships with external consultants / vendors to bring in leading practices
- Drive CSI (Continuous Service Improvement). Define, develop and manage the enterprise IT quality assurance strategy which includes leveraging best practices as well as developing and implementing standards and measures
- Supervise and manage evaluation, introduction,adoption and maintenance of relevant digital solutions (Intelligent Automations like RPA/AI/ML/Blockchain etc.)
- Supervise and Manage changes / updates, etc. to the enterprise applications environment covering (but not limited to) SAP S4 HANA, SAP Analytics, SAP Planning, Tableau, Bespoke Applications such as IMAS, and other applications on platforms such as , Microsoft technologies .net, Java/ J2EE, open source, Analytics (SAC , Tableau big data, predictive etc) , Cloud , PM tool (Redmine , Jira / Asana) etc

IT Budget and Spend

- Create Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as per the It strategy and roadmap
- Control budget and report expenditure as per the AOP




- Bring governance and raise deviation / overrun of cost to management whenever required

People Management

- Manage & Create efficiencies in the IT team to drive organizational success.
- Focus on talent management and improving its role in project management
- Arrange relevant training, workshop for internal workforce basis the needs identification and upgrades

Project Management

- Plan, perform and manage projects with the ability to multi-task between several projects independently and through the team and changing priorities and schedules simultaneously
- Ensure proper documentation compliances. Work with technology teams to identify and recommend solutions best suited for the business
- Determine the benefit / ROI with Stakeholders and sign off
- Select and deploy appropriate resource and tool in the projects
- Engage with Partners/Vendors (as applicable) to implement desired solution
- Analyze, mitigate deviations, overrun of project bringing in governance

DesirableEducational Qualification BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / MCA

Project Management Certification

PMP / ITIL / Prince 2

MBA from a reputed university / institution with good academic record.

Advance Software Certifications

Experience

Minimum of 12-15 years in Core IT function with Project Management exposure in Manufacturing setup

Specialized in digitalization, and transformation, current age technology

(Cloud/RPA/AI/Intelligent Analytics/Blockchain/ Cloud Computing)Working in SAP/ S4 Hana / SAC / Tableau environment / Dot Net technologies / O365 Apps
