Job Tittle: Head – Business Excellence

Reporting to: CEO A leading pharmaceutical & consumer healthcare group with operations across the Middle East and Africa region (confidential at this stage)

About the Role:

We're hiring a Head of Business Excellence to build and drive the commercial operating discipline across a fast-growing pharma and consumer health business spanning multiple markets in the Middle East and Africa. This is a high-visibility, CEO-facing role for someone who wants to shape how a multi-country commercial organization runs - not just report on it.

Responsibilities:

- Design and standardize sales processes and field-force effectiveness frameworks across a multi-country commercial operation
- Build territory planning, call-coverage, and productivity models that lift performance across a diverse market portfolio
- Own the incentive and performance management architecture — ensuring reward structures drive the right commercial behavior, not just volume
- Drive CRM adoption, sales data quality, and real-time performance visibility for leadership
- Bring pricing and trade-term discipline across markets,



ensuring consistency and profitability
- Identify high-performing markets/teams and replicate what works across the wider network
- Own training and capability-building for sales leadership and field teams
- Partner closely with country commercial heads while maintaining an independent, group-wide standard-setting mandate

Requirement:

- 12+ years of experience in commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, or trade marketing roles within pharma or consumer health
- Proven experience operating across multiple countries/markets - comfortable with the complexity of a business where performance varies significantly market to market
- Solid analytical orientation — able to build frameworks and read data, not just manage relationships
- Experience working in or with the Middle East and Africa region strongly preferred
- Premier B-school or equivalent, with a track record of building/scaling commercial processes from the ground up
- Comfortable in a role that requires influence without direct authority over country sales teams
