About Kloth
We’re Kloth, a Bengaluru-based fashion commerce startup.
Online fashion has a fit problem: you can’t tell whether something suits you until it arrives, so people over-order, return heavily, or simply don’t buy. We’re rebuilding that experience around a simple idea — try first, decide later.
Through
Tryals, shoppers get pieces delivered home, try them on in their own space and their own mirror, and pay only for what they keep. Our catalogue spans women’s and men’s clothing: dresses, tops, bottomwear, hoodies and occasion wear, refreshed with fast-moving new drops.
Performance Marketing
What you’ll own
- Plan and run performance marketing ads — Facebook and Instagram and campaigns on other channels — prospecting, retargeting, catalogue and Advantage+.
- Decide account and campaign structure, audiences, placements, bidding and budget pacing.
- Check performance daily, shift spend between what’s working and what isn’t, and scale winners without blowing up efficiency.
- Keep the pixel, Conversions API, catalogue feed and event setup clean so the data we optimize on is real.
Creative Ads live or die on creative, so you’ll drive the testing loop.
- Brief statics, UGC and video with our design and content people, ship a fresh batch every week, and kill weak ones quickly.
- Study what competitors and other D2C brands are running.
- Write hooks and angles yourself when needed.
- Keep a running log of what worked, what didn’t, and why — so we stop relearning the same lessons.
Conversion numbers
- Run structured A/B tests, work with the tech team on fixes,
and improve conversion rate month over month.
- Own the numbers. Daily spend and performance tracking, weekly growth review for the founders, monthly cohort and LTV analysis. Set up attribution and UTMs properly. When a number moves, you should be able to explain why without being asked twice.
- Tell merchandising which styles and sizes ads are driving demand for, and hear back from ops about what we can actually fulfil profitably. Don’t scale spend on inventory we can’t serve.
You will be measured on cost per first Tryals order, blended and channel-level CAC, ROAS, conversion rate through the Tryals funnel, keep rate on Tryals orders, AOV and contribution margin, repeat purchase rate and cohort LTV, and creative testing velocity.
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years in performance or growth marketing at a D2C, e-commerce or consumer app company, with Meta ads as your core skill. You’ve independently managed real monthly budgets and can walk us through campaigns you scaled and ones you shut off, with actual numbers.
- You know what CAC, ROAS, AOV, contribution margin, cohort retention and LTV mean and how they connect. You can pull your own data — GA4, Meta Events Manager,
spreadsheets — instead of waiting on someone else’s dashboard. You understand pixel and CAPI setup well enough to debug it.
- You have a feel for creative. You can look at an ad and say why it will or won’t work, and write a brief that gets you something better.
- You’re comfortable in a small early-stage team where things are unfinished and priorities shift. You take ownership without being managed closely. You’re based in Bengaluru and can work from our office.
Positive to have
- Fashion or apparel background, and a sense of how sizing, fit and returns affect the P&L.;
- Google Ads, YouTube or influencer marketing experience.
Why this is worth your time You’d be joining a small, sharp team trying to change how India shops for fashion online. Tryals is a genuinely different way to buy clothes, and getting it in front of the right people is the job we’re hiring for. You’d work directly with Khanaz K.A (IIM Ahmedabad, 2012), who is building Kloth.
Khanaz spent close to a decade at Amazon, most recently as a worldwide Head of Product, where he built new e-commerce categories at Amazon’s scale. He then joined Simpl as a CXO, running their D2C products. You’d be learning from someone who has built consumer products at real scale and has also carried a number on the ground.
For a growth marketer early in their career, that combination is rare: full ownership of the acquisition channel, and a founder who will go deep with you on funnels, cohorts and unit economics instead of just asking for the weekly report.
