SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) Consultant

Supply Chain / SAP S/4HANA | Full-Time

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise) Consultant to join our supply chain transformation team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA's aATP module, enabling our organization to optimize order fulfillment, improve delivery reliability, and drive supply chain efficiency through intelligent availability checks and allocation management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and implement SAP aATP solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments, including Product Availability Check (PAC), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Allocation Management.
- Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, and Logistics functions to define aATP business requirements.
- Configure and optimize Product Allocation (PA), Rules-Based Availability Check (RBAC), and Multi-Level ATP functionality.
- Integrate aATP with adjacent SAP modules including SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits related to aATP processes.
- Support end-to-end testing cycles including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Performance Testing for aATP processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve aATP-related issues in production environments, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Prepare and deliver end-user training, functional documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with technical teams on ABAP developments, CDS views, and API integrations relevant to aATP.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with a minimum of 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP aATP, including at least one go-live.
- Robust proficiency in SAP S/4HANA aATP components: Product Availability Check (PAC), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Allocation Management.
- Deep knowledge of SAP SD/MM/PP modules and their integration touchpoints with aATP.
- Experience with Rules-Based ATP (RBAC) configuration and Multi-Level ATP checks.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into functional SAP configurations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts including demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain (or equivalent certification).
- Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and its integration with aATP.
- Familiarity with SAP TM (Transportation Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) in the context of aATP.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and Fiori applications for aATP.
- Exposure to ABAP debugging and ability to read/interpret ABAP code for issue resolution.
- Experience in manufacturing, high-tech, consumer goods, or life sciences industries.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe project methodologies.
- Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role.
