As a junior executive or trainee, you will support the secure, continuous, and efficient operation of the SMS and CCM areas. Your duties involve monitoring process parameters, ensuring high product quality (billets/blooms/slabs), and assisting senior engineers with troubleshooting and production tracking. - Process Monitoring: Track daily operations of EAF/Induction furnaces, Ladle Refining Furnaces (LRF), and the casting process.
- Parameter Control: Monitor casting speeds, mold cooling, tundish temperatures, and metal flow rates to prevent defects.
- Yield Tracking: Record input/output data (raw materials, scrap, liquid steel) and help calculate charge-mix efficiency and recovery rates. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Quality & Reporting

- Quality Control: Assist metallurgical teams in checking steel composition and dimensions against required industry standards.
- Documentation: Generate daily/weekly MIS reports for senior management detailing downtime, shift summaries, and refractory/consumable inventory. [1,

Maintenance & Safety

- Breakdown Support: Coordinate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to minimize casting machine downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, particularly in high-temperature environments. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering. [1, 2, 3]
- Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers to Junior Executive level). [1]
- Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of basic metallurgy and steel manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and basic ERP/SAP.
- High adaptability to rotating shift work and high-temperature shop floor environments
