Roles & Responsibilities:

- Own outlet parameter compliance across every O&M; site against consented norms (TNPCB/CPCB or overseas equivalent)

- Optimise chemical consumption, dosing regimes and power consumption without risking compliance

- Manage biological plant health MLSS, F/M ratio, sludge age, bulking, upset recovery — and membrane care (CIP schedules, flux/recovery monitoring, replacement planning)

- Own sludge handling and disposal practice and statutory documentation

- Run preventive and predictive maintenance on pumps, blowers, dosing systems, screens, centrifuges, filter presses and RO/MEE trains

- Guarantee breakdown response within contracted timelines; drive down unplanned downtime

- Plan and control critical spares inventory jointly with Commercial & Logistics

- Own the O&M; and after-sales P&L; — contract profitability, manpower cost, chemical cost, consumables margin

- Drive AMC/CAMC renewal rates; grow spares, consumables, membrane replacement and retrofit/upgrade revenue

- Price and win new O&M; contracts, including on plants not originally built by the company





- Structure and lead multi-site O&M; manning — rosters, competency, training and certification of operators

- Publish and enforce site SOPs, logbook discipline and monthly performance reporting to clients

- Own customer escalation on operating plants; be the face of the company post-handover

- Introduce remote monitoring and digital reporting where cost-justified

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years in O&M; of ETP, STP, RO and ZLD plants, with direct accountability for consented outlet parameters

- Proven troubleshooting depth on biological and RO/membrane systems

- Experience leading O&M; teams across multiple locations, including contract manpower

- Commercial ownership experience — has carried a revenue/margin number on AMC, spares or service

- Robust grip on pollution control board compliance, records and inspections

- Practical maintenance planning experience on rotating and dosing equipment

- BE/B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
