Position: General Manager / Chief of Operations

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

CTC: $7,000 – $7,500 per month (All-inclusive)

Experience Required: 10–15 years in FMCG operations, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles

We are seeking a agile and results-driven General Manager / Chief of Operations to lead the full business operations of a well-established FMCG company utilizing a route-to-market van sales distribution model. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales, logistics, supply chain, and distribution, while ensuring overall business efficiency and growth.

This role demands a strong strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and deep operational expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP systems like ODOO or SAP B1, the ability to align operational goals with business objectives,



and a proven track record of driving performance through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end FMCG business operations

- Develop and implement effective strategies for sales, supply chain, and logistics

- Monitor and improve operational KPIs and overall business performance

- Utilize ERP systems (ODOO/SAP B1) for workflow optimization

- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve targets

- Ensure compliance with local laws and corporate policies
