Role Description As a General Duty Assistant (GDA) at Acurax Care, you will provide essential day-to-day support to patients in their homes, helping ensure their comfort, hygiene, safety, mobility, and overall well-being . The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, personal care, mobility, feeding, and companionship, while working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals when required.

GDAs are expected to maintain a clean and safe care environment, follow appropriate hygiene and safety practices,



and promptly report relevant changes in a patient's condition to the supervising healthcare professional. The General Duty Assistant is expected to follow institutional policies, maintain qualified conduct, and respond promptly to operational needs as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Candidates should have a minimum educational qualification of 12th pass and demonstrate a responsible and sincere approach towards their work.
- Good communication skills in both Hindi and English are required to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Candidates should be punctual, reliable, and consistent , with a strong sense of responsibility towards assigned duties and patient care.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards patients and their families is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in healthcare, home care, hospital care, or patient assistance is preferred , although it is not mandatory.
- Freshers are welcome to apply , and suitable candidates will receive training and guidance upon joining to help them understand their responsibilities and provide appropriate patient support.
