Job Title: GeM Admin / Computer Operator

Location: Howrah / Kolkata (On-site)

Role Summary

We are hiring a GeM-focused Admin / Computer Operator responsible for handling end-to-end GeM operations, tender documentation, order processing, and compliance tracking. This is a hands-on execution role requiring prior experience on the GeM portal.

Key Responsibilities

GeM Portal Operations (Core Responsibility)

- Manage daily operations on the GeM portal
- Upload and maintain product listings, specifications, pricing
- Prepare and submit bids / tenders / BOQs
- Track bid status, corrigendums, clarifications, and results
- Handle order acceptance, invoicing, delivery updates, and payments on GeM
- Coordinate inspection, dispatch, and GRN closure
- Maintain records of won, lost, and ongoing bids

Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare and organize supporting documents for bids and orders
- Maintain digital records for:
- Certifications (QAE, WP, IBR, ISO, etc.)
- Test reports and inspection documents
- Past performance and order completion proofs
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely uploads

Admin & Data Management





- Maintain trackers in Excel / Google Sheets:
- Bid tracker
- Order & dispatch tracker
- Payment status tracker
- Prepare invoices, delivery challans, and internal reports
- Coordinate with factory, inspection agencies, and buyers
- Handle email communication and follow-ups

Mandatory Requirements

- Prior hands-on experience working on GeM portal
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Comfortable with PDF handling, scanning, uploads, and documentation
- Understanding of tender / government procurement workflows
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing / engineering company
- Exposure to marine or industrial products
- Experience coordinating QAE / inspection agencies
- Familiarity with government buyer processes
