We're a technology-driven healthcare company building a modern platform used across multiple cities, backed by an established healthcare group with deep infrastructure and relationships already in place. We're looking for a senior engineer to take technical ownership of the platform — architect it, build the critical parts personally, and set the standard for how everything else gets built.

This is a hands-on senior role, not a purely managerial one. You'll make the foundational technical decisions, work directly in the codebase, and guide junior engineers and modern AI development tools to build at speed — while you own the parts that matter most.

What you'll own

- The core architecture and data model the entire platform is built on
- Integration with existing production systems and external services
- Data security, access control, and sound handling of sensitive information
- Technical direction, code quality, and review across the stack
- Mentoring junior developers and directing AI-assisted development effectively

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of professional software development, with real ownership of production systems
- Strong data-modeling and system-design ability — you can turn a complex, messy real-world domain into a clean, extensible structure
- Proven experience integrating software with existing,



imperfectly-documented systems and third-party APIs
- Full-stack depth: a up-to-date backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, or similar), a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar), and both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Genuine seriousness about security and handling sensitive data
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) — you use them to move faster and review their output critically
- The judgment to know when to move fast and when to slow down and be careful

Nice to have

- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another regulated, data-sensitive domain
- Cloud architecture and deployment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Having built a product from zero to one
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team
