Role Description About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS Functional Consultant to support a multi-property hospitality technology program spanning Europe and Latin America. The consultant will be engaged on a contract basis to lead functional configuration, implementation, and integration activities for OPERA Cloud across new and existing hotel properties, ensuring alignment with group-wide standards, licensing structures, and downstream ERP (Microsoft D365 F&O;) integration requirements.

This is a hands-on functional role requiring deep property management system expertise, robust stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across multiple regions, currencies, and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end functional implementation of Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS for new hotel properties, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Configure OPERA Cloud modules including reservations, front office, rate management,



inventory, cashiering, and reporting in line with property and brand standards.
- Support extension of existing OPERA Cloud implementations (e.g., replicating legal entity configurations, licensing, and OHIP integration setups) to new properties.
- Collaborate with technical teams on OPERA Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) API configuration, OAuth 2.0 setup, and interface provisioning with third-party and group systems.
- Act as the functional bridge between hotel operations teams and technical/integration teams (D365 F&O;, middleware, payment platforms).
- Validate and document functional specifications for integrations between OPERA Cloud and ERP systems (GL postings, AR/AP interfaces, night audit exports).
- Support data migration activities (rate plans, room types, guest profiles, historical reservations) during property onboarding.
- Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and configuration guides for hotel staff.
- Coordinate with Oracle and/or regional implementation partners on licensing, environment provisioning, and support escalations.
- Ensure compliance with local fiscal and regulatory requirements (e.g., country-specific invoicing/tax interfaces) as they relate to PMS configuration.
- Provide hypercare support post go-live, resolving functional issues and coordinating fixes with technical teams.





Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle OPERA Cloud PMS (OPERA PMS legacy experience also valuable).

- Proven track record of at least 2–3 full-cycle OPERA Cloud implementations, ideally across multiple countries/properties.
- Strong understanding of OPERA Cloud module configuration: reservations, rate management, front office operations, cashiering, and reporting.

• Working knowledge of OHIP (OPERA Hospitality Integration Platform) APIs, OAuth 2.0 authentication, and interface/integration concepts.

- Experience supporting integrations between PMS and ERP/finance systems (Microsoft D365 F&O; experience a solid plus).
- Familiarity with hotel operational workflows across independent or multi-property group environments.
- Experience working with international/multi-entity hotel groups (Europe and/or Latin America experience preferred).
- Robust analytical and documentation skills; ability to produce clear functional specs and training material.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable liaising with hotel GMs, finance teams, and technical architects.
- Oracle OPERA Cloud certification(s) preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

- Experience with hotel payment platform integrations (e.g., Adyen via Oracle OPI).
- Exposure to local fiscal/e-invoicing compliance requirements (e.g., Greece myDATA, Costa Rica Factura Electrónica).
- Prior experience with alternative hospitality PMS platforms (e.g., Loggia PMS/WebHotelier) for comparative or migration purposes.
- Spanish and/or Greek language skills, added advantage
