Role Overview:
We are looking for our Founding Supply Chain & Operations Lead to build and lead Project Noon’s end-to-end supply chain and operations function. This is a high-ownership leadership role where you won't just manage operations, you'll establish them. From designing planning systems and inventory processes to building relationships with manufacturers, logistics partners, warehouses, and overseas suppliers, you will lay the operational foundation for the business as it scales.
The role covers planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, order management, technology implementation, and operational excellence across D2C, E-commerce, and Quick Commerce channels.
This role reports directly to the Founder and offers significant opportunities for growth as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Build and own Project Noon's end-to-end supply chain strategy.
- Establish scalable planning systems including demand planning, supply planning, S&OP; and inventory optimisation.
- Build processes from the ground up that support rapid growth and future expansion.
- Identify operational risks and develop contingency plans.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Own supplier onboarding, negotiations and vendor management.
- Coordinate procurement of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
- Manage sourcing timelines across domestic and overseas suppliers.
- Build long-term relationships with manufacturers and vendors while driving quality, reliability and cost efficiency.
- Establish and oversee quality assurance processes for all incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods from domestic and international vendors, ensuring every shipment meets Project Noon’s quality standards before acceptance.
Order Management & Fulfilment
- Own end-to-end order management across D2C, E-commerce and Quick Commerce.
- Drive fulfilment accuracy, service levels and customer experience.
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee first-mile, middle-mile and last-mile logistics.
- Manage warehouse partners, freight providers and 3PLs.
- Optimise logistics costs without compromising service quality.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Build inventory planning and replenishment systems.
- Maintain healthy inventory while reducing stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Drive warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy.
Operations Excellence
- Develop dashboards and KPIs.
- Implement technology and automation to improve operational visibility.
- Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Brand, Finance and Growth teams.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, packaging vendors, logistics partners and overseas suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
Team Building
- Help build and mentor the operations function as the company scales, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning or Logistics.
- Experience working with D2C brands, personal care, beauty, skincare, wellness or consumer products.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics and fulfilment.
- Strong understanding of first-mile, middle-mile, and last-mile logistics.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and 3PL partners.
- Experience managing D2C, Marketplace and Quick Commerce operations.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable building systems and processes in a rapid-paced startup environment.
- Experience implementing technology, ERP, WMS, or supply chain automation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a high-ownership mindset.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in D2C, personal care, skincare, beauty, wellness or consumer brands preferred.
- Experience with overseas sourcing and international supplier management is an added advantage.
- Candidates from Tier 1 institutes will be preferred.
