Job Summary The Finance Executive in Logistics is responsible for overseeing financial activities related to transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations. This role ensures cost efficiency, accurate financial reporting, and supports decision-making to improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare budgets and forecasts for logistics operations
- Analyze transportation, freight, and warehouse costs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

2. Cost Control & Monitoring

- Track expenses such as fuel, freight, inventory handling, and distribution
- Monitor cost per shipment, route profitability, and vendor costs
- Ensure adherence to budget limits

3. Billing & Invoicing

- Verify freight invoices and vendor bills
- Ensure accurate customer billing for logistics services
- Resolve discrepancies in billing and payments

4. Vendor & Contract Management

- Review contracts with transporters and logistics partners
- Analyze pricing structures and payment terms
- Support negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs

5. Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial reports related to logistics performance




- Generate MIS reports (cost per km, cost per delivery, etc.)
- Present insights to management

6. Compliance & Auditing

- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Maintain proper documentation of transactions

7. Inventory & Working Capital Management

- Monitor inventory valuation and movement
- Support working capital optimization (payables/receivables)
- Reduce wastage and carrying costs

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (B.Com, MBA Finance preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, Tally)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valuable communication and negotiation skills

- Cost reduction percentage
- Accuracy of financial reports
- On-time billing and collections
- Budget vs. actual variance
- Logistics cost per unit/shipment

Pay: ₹11,398.43 - ₹64,165.61 per month
