Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Noida.

The Fashion

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating apparel designs for Wavyn Atelier and broader Wavyn collections, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends. Daily tasks include sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, developing mood boards, and collaborating with pattern makers and production teams to translate concepts into finished garments. The role involves overseeing fittings, refining garment construction,



and working closely with merchandising and marketing teams to prepare collections for launch.

The Fashion

Designer will also research global fashion directions, contribute to seasonal collection planning, and ensure each piece meets standards for style, comfort, and durability.

Qualifications

- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with the ability to conceptualize and develop cohesive collections.
- Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric properties, drape, and appropriate material selection for various silhouettes.
- Proficiency in Fitting, with experience in evaluating garment fit and making technical adjustments.
- Experience with Embroidery and decorative techniques to enhance garment detailing and premium finishes.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Ability to create sketches and technical drawings, preferably using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD tools).
- Strong attention to detail, aesthetic sense, and understanding of contemporary and occasion wear markets.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, production, and merchandising teams on-site in Noida.
- Prior experience in womenswear, occasion wear, or premium apparel design in the Indian fashion market is an advantage.
