The Farm Machinery Engineer is responsible for supporting productive farm machinery operations by ensuring timely availability, maintenance, and performance of agricultural equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machinery Operations: Coordinate with machinery vendors for maintenance, ensure machinery availability based on operational needs, manage spare parts inventory, and monitor equipment performance.
- Planning & Management: Prepare short- and long-term machinery plans based on acreage, manage machinery budgets/ROI, and identify sustainable machinery models.
- Training & Coordination: Conduct regular training for agro teams and local vendors, prepare field study materials, and coordinate closely with field teams, suppliers, and contract farmers.
- Data & Reporting:
Maintain operational logs, analyse machinery efficiency, monitor costs, and support profit and loss analysis.
Preferred candidate profile : Any Graduate with experience in farm machinery operations, maintenance, and agricultural practices.
- Understanding of machinery planning, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and analytical tools.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field teams, vendors, and farmers.
