Role Description The Fashion Designer will work on-site in Jaipur in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of high-fashion collections. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, creating sketches and technical drawings, selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating with sampling and production teams to ensure design integrity. The role involves overseeing fittings, refining garment construction details, and working closely with embroidery and textile specialists to translate design concepts into finished products.

The Fashion

Designer will also monitor trends, develop seasonal themes, and align designs with brand standards and production capabilities, while maintaining quality and cost parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop trend-driven Womens & kids wear collections




- Create mood boards, themes, prints, and color stories
- Develop detailed tech packs for production
- Understand and execute buyer requirements from international clients
- Coordinate with merchandising & production teams
- Stay updated with global fashion trends (Europe & Middle East markets)

Required Experience & Skills
- 3–7 years of experience in Womens & kids wear design
- Must have worked with brands like
- Zara Girls, H&M;, C&A;, Max (Dubai), Kmart, Next
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, fits, embellishments, and garment construction
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
- Experience in handling export buyers
- Strong creative and communication skills

Qualifications

- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
- Hands-on experience with Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to work with wide-ranging fabrics, surface techniques, and embellishments.
- Practical knowledge of Fitting, garment construction, and pattern interpretation to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD software) and technical specification documentation.
- Understanding of high-fashion manufacturing processes and ability to collaborate effectively with production and sourcing teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in apparel or high-fashion design manufacturing is preferred.
