ECPORT CHA

RESPONSIBLITIES :-

- Export Operations: Manage sea/air export clearance, port handling, CFS, documentation, and transport.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed in customs tariffs, clearance rules, and international trade laws.

- Special Cargo Handling: Experience with project cargo, breakbulk, and odd-sized shipments.

- Logistics Coordination: Arrange container pickup, get approvals, monitor stuffing, and track delivery.

- Documentation: Coordinate with transporters, collect LR, and handle all shipping documents.

- Client Support: Share quotations, answer queries, and send invoices/documents timely.

- Team Leadership: Lead team operations, hiring, training, and performance management.

- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain digital records, daily MIS, and ensure statutory compliance.

- CHA & Clearance Follow-up: Monitor outsourced CHA and oversee all clearance processes.

- General Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

- Compliance Management

Ensure all export activities comply with customs regulations and government policies.



Stay updated with international trade laws, tariffs, and duty changes.

- Documentation Oversight

Verify and manage essential documents like invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Ensure correct tariff classification and goods valuation.

- Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and support the customs clearance team. Allocate tasks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth daily operations.

- Communication & Coordination

Liaise with customs officials, shipping lines, logistics providers, and clients to ensure effective clearance and cargo flow.

- Problem Resolution

Handle shipment delays, compliance discrepancies, and customs audits or disputes proactively.

- Cost Efficiency

Optimize processes to reduce clearance time and costs. Focus on minimizing penalties and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

- Reporting & Analysis

Maintain accurate records of clearance activities. Prepare reports on delays, performance, and compliance metrics for management review.
