Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher for a boarding school based in Dehradun.

The English

Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching the English language, and fostering effective communication skills in students.

Responsibilities also include assessing student performance, providing individualized guidance, and fostering a supportive and productive classroom environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and adapt teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in English Teaching as per ISC/ICSC Board and a solid understanding of language instruction methodologies
- Experience in Lesson Planning and developing engaging educational materials for senior classes
- Background in Education, with a focus on teaching and curriculum development
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and colleagues
- B.Ed.



and a Master's degree in English is Mandatory
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Passion for fostering learning and student development
