About the Role

We are looking for an Electronics Sourcing & Procurement Executive with hands-on experience in sourcing electronic components and managing technical procurement.

The role requires a combination of electronics component knowledge, sourcing expertise, vendor development, commercial negotiation and technical understanding . You will work with BOMs, datasheets, suppliers and internal technical teams to ensure the right components are sourced at the right cost, quality and lead time.

Key Responsibilities

- Source electronic components such as ICs, semiconductors, capacitors, resistors, transistors, cables, connectors and related components .
- Work with BOMs, datasheets, drawings and technical specifications to identify suitable sources and components.
- Identify local suppliers and alternate sources for imported components to reduce lead time, cost and supply risk.
- Develop, evaluate and manage vendors based on cost, quality, delivery and technical capability .
- Handle RFQs, quotation collection, comparative analysis and commercial negotiations.
- Support alternate part identification and technical-commercial evaluation .
- Coordinate with technical, planning, production, stores and accounts teams for procurement requirements.
- Monitor purchase activities, supplier commitments and material deliveries.
- Resolve supplier-related delivery, quality and commercial issues .
- Track supplier performance and maintain vendor and purchase records.
- Maintain purchase price and sourcing information for future procurement decisions.
- Support continuous improvement in cost, lead time, supplier base and sourcing practices .
- Provide regular updates on sourcing and procurement activities.

What We're Looking For




- 3+ years of relevant experience in electronics sourcing, technical procurement, purchase or component procurement .
- Hands-on knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
- Experience working with BOMs and component specifications .
- Ability to read and understand datasheets, drawings and technical documents .
- Experience in vendor development, alternate sourcing and commercial negotiation .
- Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Strong follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Education BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation or a related technical discipline preferred.

Candidates from a commercial/procurement background with strong hands-on experience in electronics component sourcing may also be considered.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

This role is best suited for someone who is more than a purchase order processor —someone who can understand the component requirement, identify the right supplier or alternative, evaluate commercial and technical considerations, negotiate effectively and follow the material through to delivery.
