We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer / EDI Integration Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with EDI standards, B2B integrations, mapping, translation, and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions. The role involves working with internal teams and external trading partners to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable B2B data exchange.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain EDI integrations for enterprise applications.
- Develop and support EDI mappings, transformations, and business processes.
- Configure and manage trading partner onboarding, communication protocols, and document exchange.
- Implement and support EDI transactions such as Purchase Orders, Invoices, Advance Ship Notices (ASN), and Order Acknowledgements.
- Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve data transmission failures.
- Work closely with business users, customers, vendors, and trading partners to support integration requirements.
- Perform EDI testing, validation, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure compliance with EDI standards and business requirements.
- Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and operational procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements,



and performance optimization.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of IT experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development and B2B integration.
- Strong experience with one or more EDI platforms:
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
- Axway B2B
- Seeburger
- Boomi EDI
- OpenText/GXS
- Cleo Integration Cloud
- - Hands-on experience with EDI standards:
- ANSI X12
- EDIFACT
- XML
- CSV
- Flat Files
- - Experience with communication protocols:
- AS2
- SFTP
- FTP
- HTTP
- OFTP (preferred)
- - Experience in EDI mapping and translation tools.
- Strong knowledge of trading partner management and partner onboarding.
- Experience with production support, issue resolution, and transaction monitoring.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms such as Axway SecureTransport or IBM Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Knowledge of APIs and REST/SOAP web services.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with cloud integration platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Git.
- Exposure to logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or healthcare domains.
