Electrical Engineer (EMS/BMS/SCADA Controls Interfaces) BESS PMC The Electrical Engineer BESS PMC will provide field surveillance and monitoring of electrical installations and EMS/BMS/SCADA control-system interfaces for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects

.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation Monitoring

- Inspect installation of battery container interfaces, PCS, transformers, MV switchgear, cabling, and auxiliary power systems.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and OEM requirements.
- Monitor electrical quality and installation standards.

EMS/BMS/SCADA Interface Monitoring
- Verify communication networks, RTUs, gateways, fiber links, and control panel interfaces.
- Monitor signal mapping, alarms, interlocks, and communication readiness.
- Coordinate controls-related interfaces across project disciplines.

Testing & Readiness Support




- Review installation completion records and test documentation.
- Support electrical energization readiness reviews.
- Track punch-point closure and corrective actions.

Reporting & Governance
- Document inspection findings and non-conformities.
- Provide field readiness updates and construction observations.
- Coordinate with commissioning and design teams.

Qualifications

Education

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Electronics & Instrumentation.

Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in BESS, industrial electrical, renewable energy, or utility electrical projects.
- Experience with MV systems, control systems, SCADA, EMS, BMS, and electrical commissioning.

Certifications
- Electrical Safety Training
- LOTO Certification
- Testing & Commissioning Training
- Protection & SCADA Training Preferred
