Qualifications
- BSW, BA, or any bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
- Candidates with experience in the development or NGO sector will be given preference.
- PUC candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience may also apply.
Reporting To: Elder Wellness Project Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize senior citizens in rural communities for awareness sessions and Joyful Ageing Pathways programmes.
- Build robust networks with elders, Gram Panchayats, Health Centres, and other community stakeholders.
- Identify, mentor, and empower Vayomitra Volunteers and Hiriya Bandhus within the community.
- Organize cultural events, training programmes, medical camps, and other activities for senior citizens.
- Coordinate with local NGOs, government departments, and resource agencies to facilitate healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and submit timely reports.

Who Should Apply?

- Willingness to travel regularly to villages as part of the role.
- Ability to speak and understand Kannada fluently.

- Candidates residing outside the state.
- Candidates who cannot speak or understand Kannada.
- Candidates who are unwilling or unable to travel regularly to villages.
- Candidates who are not interested in working with older adults or in community-based field work.
Salary Rs.22000.00 to Rs.30000.00, will be decided based on qualifications, experience, and skill set.
