Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Insurance Sales Specialist with over 5 years of proven experience in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate must be IRDA certified with a strong track record of lead generation, cross-selling, upselling, and driving overall gross sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Generation & Acquisition: Proactively source, prospect, and acquire new retail and corporate clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Gross Sales & Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly gross sales targets across life, general, or health insurance products.
- Upselling & Cross-selling: Analyze existing client portfolios to identify insurance gaps and offer additional products or upgraded coverage to maximize client lifetime value.
- Relationship Management:



Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with policyholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and policy retention.
- Need Analysis & Solution Mapping: Conduct thorough financial risk assessments for clients and recommend customized insurance solutions.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure full compliance with IRDA guidelines, company policies, and complete error-free documentation for policy issuance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Certification: Mandatory IRDA Certification (Life / General / Health Insurance).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in insurance sales.
- Sales Mastery: Robust command over lead generation strategies, cross-selling, upselling, and objection handling.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Client Portfolio: An existing strong client network/database is a major advantage.
