Experience: 1-3 years as Social Media Manager

Reports To: Chief of Staff

Role Type: Full-time, Single Point of Contact (SPOC) — Digital

Salary: Starts at 6 LPA with higher salary based on cultural fit and experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sri Krishna Education Trust (Shishya Schools & Minerva Colleges) is looking for a young, dynamic, digitally passionate professional to own the Trust's entire digital footprint. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role — the SPOC will be the single owner for websites and all social media channels across the

Trust's schools and colleges, working closely with school leadership, marketing, admissions, and academic teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own end-to-end management of the Trust's websites (Shishya Schools, Minerva Colleges) — content updates, uptime, UX, SEO hygiene, and coordination with web developers/vendors.
- Plan, create, and publish content across all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter) with a consistent brand voice.
- Build and execute a monthly content calendar covering academics, events, achievements, admissions, and campus life.
- Shoot, edit, and post photos/reels/short-form video from school and college events (exams, sports day, annual day, admissions drives, etc.).
- Track social media & website analytics; report reach, engagement, and admissions-linked digital leads to leadership monthly.
- Run/support paid digital campaigns (Meta, Google) for admissions season in coordination with the marketing team.
- Ensure brand consistency (logos, colours, tone) across all digital and print-to-digital assets.
- Coordinate with external agencies/freelancers (design, web dev, video) as needed, and manage a modest digital content budget.
- Act as first point of contact for any digital query, crisis, or opportunity across the Trust's institutions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Hands-on with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube,

LinkedIn, and X — content creation, scheduling, and community management.
- Basic-to-intermediate photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Premiere Rush or similar).
- Working knowledge of website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar) for content updates.
- Familiarity with social media analytics/insights tools and basic Google Analytics.
- Understanding of Meta Business Suite / Google Ads basics for boosted posts and admissions campaigns.
- Comfortable with mobile-first content creation — shooting and editing on the go at school events.
- Basic graphic design sensibility — layout, typography, brand consistency.

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

- High energy, self-starter who takes ownership without needing constant supervision.
- Creative storyteller with a genuine passion for digital and social media trends.
- Strong communication skills — comfortable interacting with teachers, students, parents, and leadership.
- Reliable and flexible — willing to be present (and shoot content) at school events, some of which fall outside standard hours.
- Detail-oriented with positive judgement on what is appropriate to publish in a school/education environment.
- Collegial team player who can work across departments (admissions, academics, admin) with minimal friction.
- Calm under pressure — able to manage last-minute content needs or a social media issue quickly and sensibly.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate in any discipline; a background/certification in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, or Design is a plus.
- ~1–3 years of relevant experience managing social media/website for a brand, institution, or agency (education sector experience preferred but not mandatory).
- A strong personal or professional portfolio of social content is a significant advantage.

WHAT THE TRUST OFFERS

- A creative, purpose-driven role at the intersection of education and digital, with full ownership of the Trust's digital charter and direct visibility to leadership.

To apply, write in with your CV and a short note (or portfolio link) on why digital & education exvite you.
