Role Description The Design Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bandra, responsible for overseeing the visual and spatial design direction across DJRS Hospitality brands. This role includes developing and refining brand identities, designs for social media and guest-facing spaces, and ensuring cohesive design standards across restaurants and catering operations.

The Design

Lead will collaborate closely with founders, operations, marketing, and vendors to translate business goals into compelling visual and experiential design solutions. Daily responsibilities include creating design concepts, supervising implementation, reviewing layouts and materials, and managing timelines.

Qualifications





- Strong capabilities in execution for social media, brand identity creation and spatial design for hospitality environments.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar tools) and familiarity with production-ready files.
- Should have 6+ year of experience of leading end-to-end design projects, including planning, specification of materials and finishes, and in office implementation oversight.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate design rationale clearly, and manage external vendors and contractors.
- Demonstrated portfolio of hospitality, retail, or experiential design projects that show strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Bandra, with flexibility to visit other brand locations as needed.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current hospitality and F&B; design trends, materials, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
- Previous experience in hospitality design or restaurant projects in Mumbai or similar urban markets is a plus.
