We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SolidWorks Design Engineer who is interested in developing a career in mechanical machine design and manufacturing.

This opportunity is suitable for freshers with good SolidWorks knowledge as well as candidates with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Position: SolidWorks Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design machine parts, components, assemblies, and mechanisms using SolidWorks.
- Prepare accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Modify existing designs based on production requirements and client requirements.
- Maintain proper design drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material specifications.
- Coordinate with the Production Department for manufacturing of designed components.
- Coordinate with external vendors for component manufacturing.
- Follow up on manufacturing processes such as:

- CNC Machining

- Wire Cut

- Laser Cutting

- Turning

- Milling

- Surface Grinding

- Sheet Metal Fabrication

- Other machining processes
- Check manufactured components against drawings and required dimensions.
- Support the team in identifying and resolving design or manufacturing-related issues.
- Assist in raw material selection and planning.
- Assist in product/component cost estimation.
- Take necessary confirmation and approval for drawings before manufacturing.
- Make design modifications based on feedback from production, management,



vendors, or clients.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of SolidWorks is essential.
- Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;.
- Basic knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of machine components and mechanical assemblies will be an advantage.

Software Knowledge

- SolidWorks Required
- AutoCAD Required
- MS Excel
- MS Office

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome if they have good practical knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Candidates with 1+ year of experience in mechanical design/machine design will be preferred.
- Strong interest in mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work closely with the production and vendor teams.
- Ability to handle multiple design requirements and meet deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in machine manufacturing, industrial machinery, automation, or mechanical components will have an added advantage.
