Data Analytics & Automation Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data Analytics & Automation Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in using data, automation, and AI to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Production, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations, assisting with data analysis, dashboard development, reporting, process automation, and technology-driven business solutions.

This is a practical, hands-on internship where you will work with real business data, processes, automation projects, and emerging AI technologies in a fast-paced product company.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics

- Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
- Support data extraction, cleansing, and preparation from multiple sources such as CRM, ERP, Google Sheets, and databases.
- Perform basic descriptive and diagnostic analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Track KPIs and prepare regular reports for different departments.
- Assist in analyzing campaign, sales, and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support ROI and performance analysis for business initiatives.

Automation & Technology

- Identify repetitive and manual processes that can be improved through automation.
- Experience building websites and portals using LLMs and AI tools, with the ability to identify and develop solutions that provide meaningful value to the company.
- Proactively stay updated on the latest AI tools, AI automation platforms, technologies, and emerging industry trends.
- Work with Tech, IT, and Product teams to support system integrations and automation initiatives.
- Document existing processes and assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization.

Business & Strategic Support





- Assist in developing performance dashboards and MIS reports for management.
- Support Business and Operations teams with data preparation and analysis for internal reports and presentations.
- Assist with ad-hoc data analysis and automation projects related to new product launches, channel performance, cost optimization, and other business initiatives.
- Work with different departments to understand their data requirements and provide relevant insights.

Key Skills & Tools

- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets – Must-have
- Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization
- Strong knowledge of full stack development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and Python/R.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio / Looker is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Strong understanding of context engineering and prompt engineering, with the ability to design effective prompts and AI-driven workflows.
- Familiarity with Google Apps Script, Power Automate, Zapier, or similar automation tools
- Basic understanding or interest in Supabase and Vercel
- Knowledge of latest AI tools and AI-powered productivity/automation platforms
- Basic understanding of CRM tools such as Kylas, HubSpot, or Salesforce is an advantage
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or system integrations is a plus
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Positive analytical and communication skills
- Strong willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and technologies

Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong academic foundation in data,



analytics, mathematics, or technology.
- Robust interest in data analytics, business intelligence, automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Available for a 6-month full-time onsite internship in Ahmedabad.
