Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Content Development
- Develop high-quality content for schools, curriculum programs, educational initiatives, and organisational communication.
- Write and edit articles, newsletters, brochures, reports, website content, presentations, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Convert information and ideas provided by subject experts into clear, reader-friendly content.
- Develop content that reflects the organisation's vision, values, and educational philosophy.
2. Educational Content
- Support the Curriculum Team in developing teacher resources, student materials, program documents, handbooks, and training materials.
- Edit and refine academic resources.
- Ensure educational content is accurate, coherent, and consistent in language and tone.
- Support documentation of best practices and innovative practices across schools.
3. Digital & Social Media Content
- Develop content for the organisation's website and social media platforms.
- Create captions, posts, articles, campaign content, announcements, and stories highlighting school and organisational activities.
- Work with the design and digital teams to develop content for campaigns and digital communication.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and brand language across platforms.
4. School & Institutional Communication
- Develop content showcasing school achievements, student learning, teacher initiatives, events, projects, and community engagement.
- Prepare newsletters and regular communication for parents, students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Write content for school events, brochures, prospectuses, annual reports, and institutional presentations.
- Translate school-level experiences and achievements into meaningful stories.
5. Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, structure, accuracy,
and consistency.
- Ensure all published content meets organisational standards.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, tone, and style across documents.
- Fact-check information before publication.
6. Content Planning & Coordination
- Maintain a content calendar for institutional and digital communication.
- Plan content around important school events, academic milestones, campaigns, and organisational priorities.
- Coordinate with Curriculum, School Leadership, HR, Communications, and Design teams to gather information and meet deadlines.
- Track content from development through review, approval, and publication.
7. Documentation
- Maintain an organised repository of approved content, photographs, stories, publications, and communication materials.
- Develop and maintain standard templates for recurring communication.
- Document significant achievements, initiatives, and milestones across the organisation.

Preferred candidate profile experience in content writing, editing, educational publishing, communications, journalism, or a related field, with robust English writing skills and an interest in education.
