Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused Consultant Cosmetologist to join our Skin & Hair Clinic. The ideal candidate should have a medical or dental background with additional certification or specialization in Aesthetic Medicine / Cosmetology.

The Consultant Cosmetologist will be responsible for assessing patients, recommending appropriate aesthetic treatments, performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures within their scope of qualification and training, and ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, documentation, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed consultations and assess patients' skin, hair and aesthetic concerns.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient requirements and clinical assessment.
- Perform aesthetic and cosmetology procedures within the candidate's professional scope, qualifications and training.
- Provide consultations for skin rejuvenation, pigmentation, acne, acne scars, ageing concerns, hair fall and other aesthetic conditions.
- Perform or supervise procedures such as:
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- HydraFacial / medical facial procedures
- PRP / GFC or similar hair treatments, where appropriately qualified
- Laser and other energy-based aesthetic procedures, subject to appropriate training and authorization
- Other non-surgical aesthetic procedures within the practitioner's approved scope of practice
- Explain treatment procedures, expected results, limitations, possible side effects and post-treatment care to patients.




- Obtain appropriate patient consent before procedures.
- Maintain accurate consultation, treatment and follow-up records.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and conduct follow-up consultations.
- Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Work closely with dermatologists, doctors, nurses, therapists and clinic support staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection-control, sterilization and patient-safety protocols.
- Stay updated with developments in aesthetic medicine, cosmetology and non-surgical cosmetic treatments.
- Support the clinic in developing appropriate treatment packages and patient-care protocols.

Qualification Requirements
- BDS, MBBS medical qualification.
- Certification / Diploma / Fellowship / specialization in Aesthetic Medicine, Medical Cosmetology or Cosmetology is required.
- Valid professional registration as applicable to the candidate's primary qualification.
- Relevant hands-on training in aesthetic and cosmetology procedures is preferred.

Experience
- Previous experience in a skin, hair, aesthetic, dermatology or cosmetology clinic is preferred.
- Experience in patient consultation and aesthetic treatment planning will be an advantage.
