Job Opening: Commodity Trade & Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, driven, and well-connected Commodity Trade & Operations Manager to spearhead our newly launched trading and stocking division. In this pivotal role, you will take complete ownership of the supply chain lifecycle—from domestic and international procurement and warehousing to securing buyer orders and executing seamless global and local deliveries.

If you have a sharp eye for market trends, deep expertise in export compliance, and a proven track record in end-to-end commodity management, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, negotiate, and establish relationships with reliable domestic and international suppliers, farmers, and manufacturers to source high-quality commodities at competitive rates.

* Export Operations & Compliance: Manage all aspects of international trade, including export documentation, customs clearance, shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and compliance (e.g., Incoterms, Letter of Credit, bills of lading).

* Inventory & Storage Management: Oversee warehousing and stock management, ensuring optimal inventory levels, minimal wastage, proper quality control, and safe storage conditions for various commodities.

* Sales & Order Acquisition: Leverage industry networks and market insights to generate new business leads, secure domestic and international client orders, and expand our customer base.

* Supply Chain Execution:



Coordinate closely with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch, transit tracking, and final delivery of goods.

* Market Analysis: Monitor global commodity price trends, demand-supply dynamics, currency fluctuations, and competitor pricing to make informed purchasing and selling decisions.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in commodity trading, procurement, and export-import operations.

* Core Competencies: Deep understanding of international trade laws, customs procedures, and export documentation.

- Proven background in vendor negotiation and supplier network management.
- Demonstrated success in generating sales orders and managing client relationships across borders.

* Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; strong communication skills for dealing with global stakeholders.

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
