Responsibility -

- Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff''s specific area of expertise.
- Approves and signs off on work.
- Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
- Presents complex technical solutions to clients.
- Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
- Participates in development of technical proposals.
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Qualifications

- Graduate in Civil Engineering
- Additional Desirable Qualification;-Post Graduate in Highway Engineering / Transportation Engineering / ProfessionalCertificate recognized by statuary body on Safety Construction Experience:
- Qualified Experience in Bridge projects: Aggregate minimum 15 years of professionalexperience in minimum 3 countries (which may include their home country) with minimumtwo years in foreign country (other than home country).
- Experience in Similar Capacityin major Bridge projects either Cable stayed or Cablesuspension or Extradosed or pre-stressed bridge of 2/4/6 lane for highway/expressway/railcum road bridge on Design,



Engineering, Procurement, Supply And Construction basis overSea/ Creek/ Perennial River/ Estuary.
- Experience in Similar Capacityin Road and Bridge Safety Audits of Minimum 2 BridgeProjects either Cable stayed or Cable suspension or Extradosed or pre-stressed bridge of2/4/6 lane for highway/expressway/rail cum road bridge on Design, Engineering,Procurement, Supply And Construction basis.
- Experience in Similar Capacityin Road and Bridge identification and improvement ofblack spots in at least 2 Highway Projects,
- Experience in Similar Capacityof preparation of Safety Management Plans forConstruction of Bridge projects either Cable stayed or Cable suspension or Extradosed orpre-stressed bridge of 2/4/6 lane for highway/expressway/rail cum road bridge.
- Experience in Similar Capacityin field of Road Safety Management Plans in Bridgeprojects. Minimum 1 project.
- Age: Not more than 60 years.
- On behalf of Consultant: Team Leader/ Resident Engineer/Safety Expert (ConstructionSupervision/ IE/ AE).
- On behalf of Contractor: Project Director/ Project Manager/Safety Expert (Construction/Construction Supervision).
- In Government Organizations: Superintending Engineer (or equivalent) and above.
