We are looking for a strategic, commercially driven, and execution-focused Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead AGGCON’s end-to-end supply chain function. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience across procurement, logistics, vendor management, inventory, supply planning, and cost optimization, with the ability to build an efficient, scalable, and technology-driven supply chain supporting AGGCON’s nationwide equipment rental operations.

The CSCO will work closely with the CMD and senior management and provide leadership to the Procurement and Logistics functions, ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability of equipment and materials, strong vendor partnerships, and seamless movement of construction equipment across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute AGGCON’s overall supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, fleet expansion, and operational requirements.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Procurement and Logistics functions, establishing clear processes, accountability, KPIs, and performance standards.
- Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of construction equipment, OEM spare parts, tyres, lubricants, consumables, fabrication materials, and operational services.
- Oversee nationwide logistics and transportation, including mobilization and demobilization of heavy construction equipment between project sites.
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, transporters, logistics partners, service providers, and other key vendors.
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations, annual rate contracts, long-term agreements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Drive continuous cost optimization across procurement, transportation, inventory, and the broader supply chain without compromising quality, safety, or service levels.
- Establish robust vendor development, evaluation,



performance-monitoring, and risk-management processes.
- Lead supply planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and material availability across the organization.
- Ensure timely availability of critical spare parts and consumables to support equipment uptime and minimize operational disruptions.
- Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete stock, and improve inventory turnover.
- Optimize transportation planning, route selection, vendor allocation, turnaround time, and logistics costs for nationwide equipment movements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, permits, documentation, insurance, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Work closely with Operations, Fleet Maintenance, Finance, Sales, and other functions to align supply chain priorities with business requirements.
- Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs covering procurement savings, vendor performance, inventory efficiency, logistics costs, turnaround time, service levels, and material availability.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and minimize operational disruptions.
- Drive digital transformation, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and effective utilization of SAP ERP across the supply chain function.
- Develop management dashboards, forecasts, cost analyses, and strategic reports to support senior management decision-making.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams while creating a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 8–15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, strategic sourcing, or related functions, with significant experience in a senior leadership role.




- Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations, preferably across multiple locations or nationwide operations.
- Strong expertise in strategic procurement, logistics, vendor management, inventory management, supply planning, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Experience in the construction equipment, equipment rental, infrastructure, EPC, heavy engineering, automotive, mining, manufacturing, logistics, or other asset-intensive industries will be strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of heavy equipment logistics and transportation, including nationwide movement planning and transporter/vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with OEMs, major suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in procurement costs, logistics efficiency, inventory optimization, vendor performance, and overall supply chain productivity.
- Experience managing and developing large, cross-functional teams across Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate total cost, supplier economics, contractual terms, operational requirements, and business risks.
- Mandatory hands-on experience using SAP ERP.
- Strong understanding of supply chain analytics, MIS, dashboards, forecasting, and data-driven performance management.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work closely with the CMD, senior management, OEMs, suppliers, transporters, and internal business functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Management preferred.
