Position: Chief Business Officer The Chief Business Officer will own the complete Commercial Business P&L; and be responsible for building Brick&Bolt;'s Commercial Business into a market-leading vertical. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who has built and scaled large B2B businesses, managed enterprise sales, driven strategic partnerships, and delivered profitable growth. The CBO will work closely with the founders and leadership team to define the long-term growth strategy while building high-performing teams across business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, commercial operations, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and scale Brick&Bolt;'s Commercial Business across India.
- Define the long-term vision, GTM strategy, and growth roadmap.
- Identify new business opportunities across commercial construction,



interiors, fit-outs, design & build, turnkey projects, and enterprise construction.
- Drive expansion into new cities, asset classes, and customer segments.
- Own end-to-end Commercial Business P&L.;
- Deliver revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, order book, and profitability targets.
- Build predictable forecasting and business planning mechanisms.
- Build a high-performing enterprise sales organization.
- Acquire large corporate, developer, institutional, retail, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, warehouse, and GCC clients.
- Drive strategic partnerships with operators, consultants, architects, PMCs, IPCs, and channel partners.
- Improve lead generation, bid management, proposal quality, conversion rates, and account growth.
- Partner with Delivery, Procurement, Category, Design, Product, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure execution excellence.
- Improve project delivery timelines, quality, customer experience, and profitability.
- Build scalable SOPs, governance frameworks, and operating mechanisms.
- Build and lead Business Heads, City Heads, Enterprise Sales, Partnerships, Key Accounts, and Commercial Operations teams.
- Establish a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
- Coach future business leaders within the organization.
- Drive data-backed business decisions and quarterly growth planning.

Ideal Candidate

- 12–18 years of experience in high-growth startups, construction-tech, commercial construction, EPC, infrastructure, managed marketplaces, or real estate services.
- Proven experience building and scaling a business from ₹0–100 Cr+ or ₹100–500Cr+.
- Strong P&L; ownership experience.
- Track record of leading enterprise sales and strategic partnerships.
- Experience managing multi-city business operations.
- Robust commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a founder-led, fast-scaling environment.
- Experience building teams from scratch and driving operational excellence.
