Business Development/Partnership Manager – Airline & Hotel Partnerships

Finkraft helps large enterprise customers maximize GST claims on airline and hotel expenses. Partnering with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and Big 4 consulting firms, Finkraft integrates technology and expertise to streamline the GST claim process for corporate clients.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with Airlines, Hotels, and TMCs. This role requires a professional with deep industry knowledge and a strong network within the travel and hospitality sectors. The candidate will enhance Finkraft’s value proposition by securing partnerships that drive revenue growth, enable GST optimization, and identify new business opportunities in the travel and hospitality ecosystem.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Partnership Metrics
- Number of airlines and hotels onboarded for GST data-sharing or product validation.
- Increase in the volume of GST-compliant invoices processed via partnerships.
Revenue and Growth Targets
- Contribution to revenue growth through enhanced airline and hotel collaborations.
- Incremental revenue generated through innovative partnership models.
Network Expansion
- Growth in Finkraft’s network within the travel and hospitality sectors.
- Participation and representation at key industry forums and events.
Solution Deployment
- Success in pitching and deploying QR validation and other Finkraft solutions with partners.
- Identification of actionable gaps in airline and hotel processes for new business opportunities.
Requirements
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. Strategic Relationship Management
- Cultivate and manage relationships with decision-makers in Airlines, Hotels, and TMCs.
- Collaborate with TMC supplier teams, account managers, and corporate travel teams to negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement and issue resolution.
2. Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard airlines and hotel chains for GST data-sharing agreements.
- Develop win-win partnerships, including promoting Finkraft’s QR validation, air, and hotel products to large enterprises.
- Explore gaps within airline and hotel operations to propose innovative solutions leveraging Finkraft’s offerings.
3. Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification
- Analyze industry trends, pricing strategies, and compliance practices to identify potential opportunities for Finkraft’s services.
- Map competitive landscapes and recommend enhancements to Finkraft’s value proposition.
4. Revenue and Solution Expansion
- Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new corporate clients via airline and hotel partnerships.
- Drive incremental revenue by leveraging partnerships to optimize GST claims and introduce new solutions to enterprise clients.
- Propose B2C-to-B2B conversion strategies for airlines and hotels to align with GST compliance needs.
5. Compliance and Collaboration
- Partner with Big 4 firms to align solutions with GST regulatory requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of Finkraft’s products into partner workflows and systems.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Skills
Professional Background
- 5-7 years of experience in business development, supplier management, or account management roles within Airlines, Hotels, or TMCs.
- Proven track record in negotiating high-value contracts and partnerships.
Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the travel and hospitality sectors, including corporate travel workflows and GST compliance.
Networking and Communication
- Established relationships with key decision-makers in Airlines, Hotels, and TMCs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Location
- Based in Gurgaon or Mumbai to leverage proximity to key industry stakeholder.
