Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for Maarque Up Media’s digital services portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering client presentations, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts aligned with client needs and agency capabilities.

The Business Development

Manager collaborates closely with marketing, creative, and technical teams to shape solutions, refine service offerings, and ensure high-quality delivery for clients. The role also involves tracking market trends, monitoring competitors,



reporting on sales performance, and contributing to strategic planning to expand the agency’s presence in target markets.

Qualifications

- Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with experience in generating and closing recent business opportunities.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, performance marketing, and SEO/SEM services, and the ability to translate these into clear value propositions for clients.
- Understanding of website development, UI/UX design, mobile app development, and e-commerce solutions to support solution-based selling.
- Experience working with content, photography/videography, influencer marketing, and virtual events as part of integrated digital campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers across sectors.
- Strong analytical and research abilities to assess market trends, identify growth opportunities, and forecast sales performance.
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, proposals, and client accounts simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a digital agency, media, or technology-driven environment is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Jaipur, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to a fast-paced, results-oriented culture.
