We're Hiring: Business Development Executive – Carbon Accounting, CBAM & ESG/BRSR

About the Role

We are building a consulting practice helping Indian exporters and enterprises navigate Carbon Accounting, CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) compliance, and ESG/BRSR reporting. We're looking for a driven Business Development professional to identify, engage, and close clients who need these services.

What You'll Do

- Identify and prospect potential clients — exporters affected by CBAM (steel, aluminium, cement, fertilizers, hydrogen, electricity), and companies needing ESG/BRSR reporting support
- Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, industry associations, and trade bodies
- Set up and run client meetings (virtual and in-person) to explain our carbon accounting, CBAM compliance, and BRSR advisory offerings
- Build and manage a sales pipeline from lead to closed deal
- Work closely with the technical/consulting team to scope client requirements and hand off closed accounts
- Track outreach, conversions, and market feedback; report progress regularly





What We're Looking For

- Prior experience in B2B sales, business development, or consulting sales (carbon/ESG/sustainability domain experience is a strong plus, not mandatory)
- Understanding of (or willingness to quickly learn) CBAM, carbon accounting principles, and BRSR/ESG reporting frameworks
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable with cold outreach
- Self-starter who can work with targets and minimal supervision
- Bonus: existing network among exporters, manufacturers, or sustainability consultants
