Hiring: Business Development Executive – Corporate Gifting

Nuvasa Living is a premium handcrafted home & lifestyle brand working with Indian artisans across marble, brass, teak wood, leather, and enamel. As we head into our biggest season — Diwali corporate gifting — we're hiring someone to grow our B2B and corporate gifting business.

We're not looking for someone who just hits targets and sends catalogs. We need someone who can sit with a client's brief, actually understand what they're trying to say through a gift, and come back with curated, thoughtful suggestions — including product combinations they hadn't considered. You'll be part relationship-builder, part curator, part consultant.

What you'll do

- Identify and approach potential corporate clients (HR teams, procurement, event/gifting agencies) for bulk and festive orders
- Understand each client's budget, brand, and occasion - and suggest curated product options and customizations that genuinely fit
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations that reflect Nuvasa's craft-led positioning, not generic price sheets
- Build and maintain relationships with recurring corporate clients




- Represent Nuvasa's story and artisan craft philosophy confidently in every conversation
- Spot gaps in our catalog based on real client requests, and feed that back into product development
- Maintain the sales pipeline and lead tracker

Who we're looking for

- Freshers welcome - we're prioritizing taste, curiosity, and communication over years of experience
- A sharp communicator, written and verbal, who can think on their feet in a client conversation
- A genuine eye for design, aesthetics, or craft — you should be able to look at a product and immediately think "who is this for, and what would go with it"
- Comfortable with cold outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls) and equally comfortable in a client-facing conversation
- Organized enough to manage multiple client conversations and follow-ups at once
- Based in or willing to work from Kolkata

Bonus if you

- Have any exposure to gifting, hospitality, retail, product design, or D2C brands
- Follow design/lifestyle content and have strong opinions on what makes a gift feel premium vs. generic
