- CFAL PU Biology Lab / Research Centre

CFAL is looking for an M.Sc. Biology (Botany / Zoology) professional who can support the day-to-day functioning of the PU Biology Laboratory and assist with activities at the Research Centre Laboratory. The role is suited for someone with valuable practical knowledge of Biology, strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and an interest in scientific research.

Responsibilities

- Manage and support the day-to-day functioning of the PU Biology Laboratory
- Assist faculty and students during Biology practical sessions
- Prepare and organise specimens, slides, reagents, equipment, and other laboratory materials
- Handle and maintain microscopes, specimens, models, glassware, and lab equipment
- Support Botany and Zoology practical work, including microscopy, specimen handling, staining, dissection, and preservation as required
- Maintain laboratory records, inventory, consumables, and equipment
- Ensure proper laboratory cleanliness, safety, storage, and documentation
- Assist researchers in the Research Centre Laboratory




- Support sample preparation, experiments, observations, data collection, and documentation as required
- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and research protocols
- Coordinate with faculty, students, research scholars, and researchers

Who should apply

- M.Sc. in Biology / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences
- Good practical and laboratory skills
- Comfortable working with biological specimens and laboratory equipment
- Interest in research and experimental work
- Good organisational and documentation skills
- Responsible, careful, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques

Education & Experience M.Sc. Biology (Botany / Zoology) or related discipline.

Prior experience in a school/college Biology laboratory, research laboratory, project work, or academic institution will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
