Role Description The Beauty Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, responsible for delivering high-quality, professional beauty and wellness training to students. The trainer will plan and conduct theory and practical sessions across areas such as makeup, skin, hair, and basic cosmetology, ensuring adherence to UK International’s curriculum and international standards. Daily responsibilities include demonstrating techniques, supervising hands-on practice, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a safe, hygienic training workplace.





The role also involves mentoring learners on professional ethics, client handling, and salon readiness, along with supporting examinations, workshops, events, and industry interactions. Collaboration with academic coordinators and management to update course content, track student progress, and contribute to continuous improvement of training outcomes is expected.

Qualifications

- Professional expertise in makeup artistry, beauty therapy, hair styling, and basic cosmetology, with strong practical demonstration skills.
- Ability to design and deliver structured lesson plans, conduct assessments, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse learners, build confidence, and provide clear, supportive guidance.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, client consultation, and salon-standard protocols within the beauty and wellness industry.
- Prior experience as a trainer or senior beauty professional in academies, salons, or related institutions is highly preferred.
- Relevant certification or diploma in beauty, cosmetology, makeup, or hair; advanced or international qualifications (e.g., CIDESCO, B.Voc) are an advantage.
- Comfort with maintaining training records, coordinating with academic staff, and supporting workshops, events, and placements.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with trends, products, and techniques in the beauty and wellness domain.
